サンガツは、2012年以降の作品について、著作権を放棄することにしました。


※2012年以前の作品は原盤権を持っていないので、今まで通りの扱いになります。
※コラボ作品の場合は、コラボ相手の意向もあるのでその都度アナウンスします。
※とりあえず５年間やってみます。良い感触を得られれば5年後以降も続けます。




良く言われるように、音楽とリスナーとの関係が「所有」から「共有」へ移行していくとすれば、その最大のボトルネックになるのが著作権なのではないでしょうか？　もちろん、時代に合わせて著作権の形も変化して行くのかもしれません。でもそれまで待っていられないということで、自分たちを使って作品の流通の仕方を実験してみることにしました。



また、今現在巻き起こっている音楽の未来像についての議論が、今ひとつ踏み込めない、精彩を欠いているような印象さえ抱かせるのは、「どう音楽でマネーメイクするか」という点から離れられないからではないでしょうか。いったんその制約から離れ、ミュージシャンの論理でなくユーザーやネットの論理に身を任せた先にどんな景色が見えるのか。その景色を見てみたいという思いから、音楽をフリーにすることにしました。
